Aviation (Combustor Test Lab)

One of the most intriguing and time-sensitive projects that I had the privilege of working on. This project entailed a high pressure and high temperature compressor that was to be specially engineered for a jet engine combustor lab. The project consisted of three identical compressors. Everything was delivered on time and was tested successfully.

High Pressure Compressor

Used as a booster to supply combustor lab air. Some of the specs include the following: 
-100% air
-2 stages
-high pressure & high temperature design 
-capacity : 63,000 Nm3/h
-34.5 barA inlet: 75 barA discharge
-Inlet temp: 150°C
-Exit temp: 270°C

Note: N in "Nm3/h" stands for metric normal conditions, which is measured at standard temperature and pressure
